Playing With Numbers

According to Statistics Canada, people in this province make an average wage of $749.38 per week.

The federal agency used data collected in October of this year. The numbers are up 3.6 per cent from data collected last October, when the average weekly wage was $723.19. The province is still near the bottom on a national scale.

$749.38 Per week! $1498.76 bi-weekly, $2997.52 per month? it is written Average however, don't forget. What Stats Canada means is this! You take 48 politicians and give them $2248.14 each per week and you take 123 persons on income support and give them $162.50 a week, then the average is $749.38 - however, try comparing the grocery lists.

These reports are misleading, they cover up the reality, and portray a bed of roses. Shame on you!
