He Who Laughs First Laughs Last

Last night watching Danny Millions and Jerome (Premier in Waiting) show their anger and spitefulness to the province and it's nurses was sickening.

I am not sure it was a tear in his eye, but it was a smile on my face when I was easily able to decipher, that he feels beaten.

Everything is personal with Danny and after every word out of Jerome's mouth with his high pitched, school boy voice and weasel like eyes, he looks to Danny for Danny's nonverbal approval. Did you see that? It was almost like, ooops Mr. Danny, was I allowed to say that?

Jerome is a two-bit Water St lawyer, out of Carbonear, who made the news by defending our provinces lowest life forms, common criminals. He couldn't get himself elected the first time around and now he is an expert in global economics.

Jerome has a few months experience as Justice Minister, now Finance Minister as Danny attempts to groom him for the next leader of the PC Party. Can you imagine Jerome as premier? Full body shiver!!

How did we get from being a "have province" a few hours ago to a record deficit numbers in the billions?

Danny can thank himself for the trickling federal dollars. Danny you just did us out of 1.6 billion dollars!!!!! make no wonder you couldn't send Harper (another clown) one MP and then you expect him to write you a cheque!!

Guess no one else was in the running when you were named a Rhodes Scholar. Face it Danny you are all ego and the nurses of this province can bring you to your knees, you have a long way to fall, or will you opt out when you think Jerome can take the reins.

Trying to run the province like a cable company just won't work. I believe Danny will ultimately be responsible for this province's demise. You could have taken everything off the table before nurses began their strike vote, however you waited until they had the first week completed to show your antics. Nurses won't be bullied, bamboozled, strong armed, or have anything imposed on them by you and Jerome. Get back to the table in the true spirit of COLLECTIVE bargaining and not in a template, recipe, cookie cutter, pattern style.
